Factor 1 Balaclavas are ideal as a thermal liner to go under safety helmets and motorcycle helmets, or worn as part of your base layer system for hiking, mountaineering and skiing.
Manufactured from the same polyamide yarn as Sub Zeros award winning , these balaclavas have a low profile elasticated face opening and are constructed using flat seam technology to prevent rubbing and helmet pressure points. The base is contoured to provide extra protection to the front and back of the neck.
During the finishing process, the thermal base layer fabric used to manufacture these balaclavas is treated with a water loving hydrophilic treatment to actively manage moisture, especially useful for people who are prone to sweaty heads.
